Hello! Hope all you lovelies have had an amazing Mother’s Day, especially if you’re lucky enough to have a little terror of your very own. Mine was wonderful; I had a cheeky little lie-in but missed Dex way too much (I’m such a loser sometimes), and was made a yummy two course breakfast by Mr B which meant he banked a few brownie points…what a good egg. Dexter’s nap-game was extremely strong which the hubby and I were high-fiving about all day, but again…we kinda missed him whilst he was sleeping so much. In the afternoon we all bundled ourselves in to the car and headed over to my parents for a lovely Sunday roast, and after stuffing our faces and our bellies we rolled ourselves home just in time for Dexter’s bath.
It was flowers all round for the Lund/Brown Mummies (including me! :D) and we kept everything nice and simple for our first Mother’s Day; we really just wanted to appreciate each other and how lucky we are to have our little man in our lives. It sounds so boring and cliché, but he really is the best thing to ever happen to us and is our proudest achievement.
